At GoodWerk, we offer dynamic practicum and internship experiences for graduate students pursuing careers in mental health counseling. These opportunities provide hands-on experience in a range of areas, including substance use, mental health issues, identity development, relationship guidance, daily life management, and so much more.
Facilitated by a expert team of counselor-educators and skilled mental health professionals, our one-of-a-kind institute bridges theory and practical application—fostering lasting knowledge and skill development for counslers-in-training and future licensed mental health counselors.
Through our Intern Development Institute, counseling interns will gain valuable experience, mentorship, and supervision from seasoned minority counseling professionals deeply committed to enriching both intern growth and the growth of their clients.
Graduate students entering our practicum and internship experiences are held to high professional standards, and may eligibile for both applied (clinical) and academic developmental opportunities throughout thier time in the program. Successful interns will have the opportunity to continue their journey with us as part-time or full-time employees, contributing significantly to our practice and the broader community.
