Caregiving Without Breaking: Strength & Support in BIPOC Families

  • GoodWerk Counseling 801 Douglas Avenue Altamonte Springs, FL, 32714 United States (map)

Caregiving is often an act of love—but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally demanding. In many BIPOC families, caregivers carry significant responsibility while navigating cultural expectations, systemic barriers, and limited support. Many also struggle with simply not knowing how to give care—how to advocate within medical systems, support loved ones emotionally, and still care for themselves along the way.

Caregiving Without Breaking: Strength & Support in BIPOC Families is a 90-minute virtual workshop designed to honor caregivers while offering practical tools, emotional support, and community connection. Together, we’ll explore the realities of caregiving in marginalized communities, share experiences, and discuss ways to balance caring for loved ones without losing ourselves in the process.

Through guided conversation, wellness strategies, and resource sharing, this space will focus on building resilience and sustainable caregiving practices. Participants will leave with practical tools, supportive connections, and renewed encouragement to continue showing up for their families while also protecting their own well-being.

If caregiving has ever felt heavy, uncertain, or lonely, this workshop offers a space for reflection, support, and community—because those who give care deserve care too.
